Facilities available at the Faculty of Chemistry include:
- Wetlabs for synthetic chemistry fully equipped with state-of-the-art equipment for synthetic work with a microwave assisted peptide synthesizer and equipment for moisture and air sensitive syntheses, among others.
- Hotlabs for radioactive work including C- and B-laboratories equipped with state-of-the-art instruments, such as gamma-HPLC and SEC, gamma-TLC reader, gamma-counter, dose calibrators and all equipment required to meet radiation safety aspects (contamination monitors, dosimeters etc.). Prof. Mindt is the radiation safety officer responsible for the radioactive labs and in charge of the safe receipt, usage and disposal of any radioactive material.
- Access to the core facilities at the Faculty of Chemistry for, e.g, NMR and MS analyses as well as x-ray diffraction.
- Access to cell labs for biological work at the Institute of Inorganic Chemistry.
